- This certificate is a copy from one of the original 13 teachers examined and hired by the first Board of Education of Fulton County. John H. Cash (1837-1923) married Mary Catharine Eidson in 1831. The couple had 11 children. Many of their descendants would serve in the Fulton County School System, including daughters Addie and Pauline Cash; as well as a grandson, Edward Eugene Baker, who would become superintendent in 1971.
