- The valedictorian speech of Annas Gertrude Ryan of Russell High School. Russell High School, originally called East Point Public High School, had been annexed by Fulton County in 1927 as the two systems were merged. The Class of 1928 would be the first at Russell to graduate in the Fulton County system. The school was closed in 1988.
