Reverend Michael P Dickerson, Eulogist
Mr. John Wallace Hall was born on October 23,1947 to Bertha
and Fred Hall, Jr. In addition to his parents, his great aunts,
the late Cecelia and Rosetta Jones, were also an instrumental
part of raising him from a young age in Claxton, Georgia.
He began his Christian Journey with Mount Pleasant Baptist
Church under the leadership of Reverend E. M. Solomon.
John was educated in the public school system of Evans County
(Claxton) Georgia, and graduated from Evans County High
School.
John Wallace Hall began his career with the United States
Marine Corp. shortly after graduating from high school
and was a Vietnam War Veteran. Along John's life he
continued his career with the City of Savannah as a Fireman
and retired with many years of dedicated service. A man ever
dedicated to working, he worked for many years with Tire
City. We pause here to pay a loving tribute to one who was
loved so much by so many.
He will be celebrated and remembered by his loving and
devoted wife, Sonja Hall of Savannah, GA; three children,
Jamoun Hall, Jamonoski (Kimberly) Hall, and Dr. Joylene
Hall, Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Jamonoski, Jr., Maurissa
(Pierre), Tyeisha, Tonyja, JonyJa, and Koloha; stepchildren,
