Ms. Freddie Lee Bass was welcomed into this world on
November 22,1936 to the late Mr. Percy Bass Sr. and Mrs. Bertha M.
Bass. Freddie lived in Claxton, GA until she moved to New
Rochelle, NY in the early 60s. Freddie was a kind and thoughtful
person always willing to lend a helping hand to everyone in need.
Ms. Freddie Lee Bass entered into eternal rest on Thursday,
October 24, 2019 at home.
Freddie was preceded in death by her parents Percy Bass Sr. and
Bertha McKinnon Bass; four brothers Willie Lee Bass, Walter
McKinnon, James T. Bass and Purse Bass Jr.
Freddie, my mom, has such a beautiful smile that could be seen
for miles and a laugh that was contagious, everyone knew that was
Freddie when she entered the room, how they loved and adored her
so. She had such a big heart that overflowed with love, compas-
sion, humility, generosity, and a kind word that could lighten up any
gloomy day. She was a devoted Christian when she joined Shiloh
Baptist Church at a young age and she was a faithful member as
long as she was able to attend, her spirit never wavered when it
came to the church.
She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter Ms. Sarah Ann
Robertson of New Rochelle, NY; one son Larry Bernard Robertson
Sr. of Belton, MO; two sisters Mrs. Margaret Jones of Macon, GA
and Mrs. Edith Rowe (Isaac) of Fayetteville, GA; one brother Calvin
Bass of Ft. Pierce, FL; two granddaughters Monica Bertha
Robertson and Angelica Diamond Robertson; three grandsons
Javon Robertson, Larry Bernard Robertson Jr. and Julian Marcus
Robertson and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Miss Me "But Let Me Qo
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little but not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me but let me go.
For this is a journey that we all must take
And each must go alone.
Its all a part of the Masters plan,
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
Miss Me But Let me Go!
