Mr. Harry L. Hagan was born on February 24, 1957 in Evans County to
Mrs. Verdie L. Boggs and Mr. Frank L. Hagan. He entered into his
eternal rest on June 9, 2019 at Evans Memorial Hospital in Claxton, GA.
He was preceded in death by one sister Ms. Cynthia Brunson.
Harry accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Historic Mount
Pleasant Baptist Church where he sang in the male choir. He was educated
in the Evans County School system and was a graduate of class of 1975.
Harry joined the military and received an early retirement after 18 years of
service in the army. After serving his country he returned back to his
hometown where he helps many others. Harry served on many
organizations which included: Feed the Hungary, after school program, and
one of his most prized accomplishment serving as chairman of the board
for the Evans County Eonghorns alumni until his health declined and other
organizations as president and chairman.
Harry leaves to cherish his warm loving memories his parents Verdie E.
Boggs and Frank E. Hagan of Claxton, GA; two daughters Miya Hagan of
Guyton, GA and Trinity Hagan of Claxton, GA; three sons Alexander
Hagan of Germany, Bryan Hagan and Gabriel Hagan of Claxton, GA; five
brothers Carlos Boggs (Sylvia), Karl Hagan both of Claxton, GA, Dennis
Hagan of Fayetteville, NC, Franklin Hagan of Stone Mountain, GA and
Bobby Hagan (Kourtnie) of Eawrenceville, GA; three sisters Reponsa
McNeal (Ricky) of Atlanta, GA, Tina Hagan of Claxton, GA and Erika
Hagan of Statesboro, GA; three aunts Aldonia Hagan of Hagan, GA, Jean
Hagan of Elizabeth, NJ and Ommie Eee Bacon (James) of Daisy, GA; two
uncles ONeal Young of Statesboro, GA and Scearven Hagan of Hampton,
VA and a special nephew Lavonta Tillman.
Special friends Tina, Krista, Owen, Dewey and a host of Nieces,
nephews, cousins and friends.
