Obituary
Mrs, Qri^endbo^n JoFlusou, who passed
into rest on Wednesday, May 17, 20] 7, was born on
Thursday, October 1, 1953 in Claxton, Evans Coun-
ty, GA. She was preceded in death by her
father, Pearlie Brown and a son, Christopher LaSh-
ay Johnson.
QW&Vldoiyy\/ was a homemaker with a heart of
gold; she never met a stranger in need for whom she
did not offer and give care. She took in many fami-
lies and reared many generations of children who
were not her own.
SMrs, Jofinson is survived by her husband, Co-
lumbus Johnson, Statesboro, GA; her mother,
Maeretha Thompkins Brown, Claxton, GA; her
children, Karlina (Kent) Walker, Claxton, GA,
Chermaleta (Decano) Brown, Fayetteville, NC,
Purlay Johnson and Senetra Johnson, both of States-
boro, GA; twenty grandchildren, one great grand-
child; one brother, Jimmy Brown, Claxton, GA;
seven sisters, Margie Brewton, Donita Moody,
Kathy Tippins, Sherion Brown, Lisa Kennedy,
Debra Morgan and Rocherry Brown, all of Claxton,
GA; five stepchildren, Mary Johnson, Linda
Smalls, Columbus Johnson, Janice Johnson and
Audrey Johnson, all of Tallahassee, FL and a host
of other relatives and friends.

Mother, you were just a girl
So many years ago
You had your loves and had your dreams;
You watched us come and go.
You watched us make the same mistakes
That you had made before,
But that just made you hold us tight
And love us all the more.
We havent always thought about
The things that you have seen.
To us youve just been Mother,
No thought of who youve been.
But we remember now in love.
Your life from start to end.
