/i was bom to the late Remer and Josephine Denson on August 12,
1949 in Claxton, Georgia the only son and the second of three children. He was preceded in death by his grand-
parents, Michael and LUla Jones whom he loved endlessly, one sister, Mrs. Linda Palmer, and one nephew, Bobby
Tompkins.
Rcdphie, as he was affectionately called, was educated in the Evans County, Georgia school system where he
participated in and excelled in theatrical arts and sports; an avid football player he was.
His passions were family, football, singing, dancing, and dressing with great style. He LOVED to wear suits that
were bought for him by his Uncle Abelene. Rcdphie spent his childhood summers in New York, where he would
work, play sports, and spend time with his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Upon completing his schooling, Ralph moved to New York where he enlisted in the US Navy. Ralph married at an
early age, and to this union one daughter was bom.
During his time in New York, Ralph became a Jack of all trades. His work spanned from banking and auto mechan-
ics, to various positions within the medical field. Ralph loved to work alongside his mother and uncles, as well as
his brother-in-love Bobby.
After leewing the Navy, Ralph moved to Philadelphia Pennsylvania where he continued his career with the Federal
Government. He held this Job for 37 years until God called him home. Ralph had a passion for landscaping which
allowed him to start his own business, Ralphs Lawn-Care Service. He also had a passion for cooking, and could
always be found in the kitchen preparing food during holidays and family gatherings. He was known for his home-
made biscuits, world famous ham and his famous BBQ Pork.
Ralph loved the Lord, and was a dedicated servant in many areas of the church throughout his life. In the late 90s,
he became a faithful member of the New Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. Vaughn
B. Wilson, and was ordained in 1999 as a man of Honor (Deacon).
WhUe honoring his commitment to the Lord at New Fellowship, he was blessed to meet the LOVE of his life and his
best friend, Shirley, whom he married in October 2000. Through this union, he gained five daughters. Though he
had many passions in life, the greatest of all was the love he had and shared with his beloved wife, daughters, and
grandchildren. Ralph was full of laughter and cherished spending time with his family.

Ill love you forever
My devotion has no end
One day Ill see you
Around heavens bend
I know youll be waiting
IVith a smile and a kiss.
Ill explain what its been like
To go through all of this.
Then well hug each other
Like theres no tomorrow.
That will be the moment
That will end all my sorrow.
Ill tell you how Ive felt
Living my life without you here.
Then youll look into my eyes
And wipe away my every tear.
Love and Miss you.

Love Never Ends...
Speak of me as you have always done
Remember the times, laughter, and fun
Share the happy memories weve made
Do not let them wither and fade
Ill he with you in the summers sun
And when the winters chill has come
Ill he the voice that whispers in the breeze
Im peaceful now, put your mind at ease
Ive rested my eyes and gone to sleep
But memories weve shared
Are yours to keep
Sometimes our final days may he a test
But remember me when I was at my best
Although things may not be the same.
Dont be afraid to use my name
Let your sorrow last just a while
Comfort each other and try to smile
Ive lived a life filled with joy and sorrow
But I will love you for all your tomorrows
Love,
Your Husband, Father, PopPop, Brother,
Nephew, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend
