A precious one from us is gone, a voice we loved is still, a
place is vacant in our home, the world can never fill.
Mr. Joe Bacon was bom march 20,1927 in Claxon Ga. to the late Ed Bacon
and Mary Jane Bacon Denmark.
He departed this life on Wednesday morning August 24,2016.
He was joined in holy matrimony to the late Evelyn Slater Bacon in the
summer of 1946.
He joined the Green Cypress Missionary Baptist Church where he
attend regular until his health failed.
Four children proceeded him in death, Barbara J. Newton, Sadie Ruth
Grove; Mae Evelyn Walker; and Charles Beasley also four brothers two
sisters.
He leaves to cherish his memories nine children; Dorothy Williams of
Prince George Virginia; Thelma Littles; Johnnie Bacon; Mary Love;
Evangelist JoAnn Howard (James); Gwendolyn Holley (Orie); Judy Bacon;
James E. Bacon; Beverly Moore all of Claxon. and three grandchildren
raised by them Caretha Mincey (Randy) Claxon; Von Newton (Raquel) of
Rincon Ga.; Jimmie Newton of Millen Ga. One sister Mrs. Lillie Mae
Smart Claxon; Several sisters and brothers -in-laws, Magdalene Carter of
Pomona Breach Fla. Sarah Williams; Jewell Hayward (Roy); Annie Grace
Badger; Nomi Slater all of Claxon Ga. Kathy Sapp, Ernestine Badger
Oakland Ca. Willie E. Badger Sacramento, Ca. Ernest Badger Daly City
CA. 39 grandchildren 80 great grandchildren 24 great great grandchildren
and a host of nephews, nieces other relatives and friends.
