Ms. Dorothy Wilkerson was born May 13, 1940 in Evans
County, Georgia to the late McKinley and Ethel Wilkerson.
She passed away early Monday morning on August 17, 2015 at
Ogeechee Hospice in Statesboro, Georgia.
She attended school at the Evans County High School. She was
a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Reidsville,
Georgia, after relocating from New Jersey after many years.
Dorothy was preceded in death by one daughter, Bernadette
Wilkerson.
She leaves to cherish many fond and loving memories: one brother
and sister in law, Julian and Bernistine Wilkerson, Claxton, GA;
One sister, Catrindya Williams, Atlanta, GA; one aunt, Alma
Williams, University Heights, OH; one uncle. Levy Williams,
Yorktown Heights, NY; a close cousin, Eva Nell Wilkerson,
Long Island, NY; special nieces and nephews, Pamela Myers,
Cheryl Kennedy, Yolanda Linton, Michael Wilkerson, Jonathan
Wilkerson, Denise Lewis and many other nieces, nephews, cous-
ins and friends.
