SAW YOU GET UNO TIRED
When a cure was not to he
He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, COME TO ME
You didnt deserve what you went through so He gave you needed rest.
GODS GARDEN must be
HE only takes THE BEST
elen McClain was born April 30, 1932 in
Tattnall County to the late Vernita Smith
Richardson and Kelly Mincey. During the early morning of
February 18, 2015, heavens doors opened and welcomed
her home.
At an early age, Helen attended New Bethel Baptist Church
olTar City, Georgia. She later became an active member at
Healing Temple Ministries serving faithfully until her health
failed. Mother McClains faith never wavered: she knew her
walk was anchored in the Lord. Through any challenges she
faced. Mother McClain would continue to say, God is
good.
As the matriarch of the family she cherished family and friends.
She assisted the sick and provided support for all the mothers in the
neighborhood. She loved to make everyone laugh abundantly and
share her home with her community. Her love made you feel like
family, which in return she was affectionately called Mother or Cun
Helen. She instilled great morals and family values leading by
example, A Virtuous Woman.
Preceded her in death is her husband of 58 years, Henry McClain,
Sr.. Also preceding her in death are three brothers Roger Mincey,
Troy Mincey, and LeRoy Mincey.
She leaves to cherish her memory: eleven devoted children,
Bernice Kennedy (Martha) Mt. Vernon New York and Larry
Mincey Savannah, Georgia; Ora Lee Congers Manansas,
Georgia; Louise Brewton (Donnie) Austell, Georgia; Cora Brewton
(Grayling) Claxton, Georgia; Matha Thompson (Tyreace) Powder

I have finished now with this house of clay,
Please kindly and carefully lay it away,
And let me rest from this Ife of pain.
Toiling in sunshine, storm and rain.
Trying to help the sick and the poor,
And turning no needy from my door.
I strove to do my masters work.
Never a duty did I shirk.
I am tired now, so let me rest.
Dont cry, Dont you know God knows best?
Dont weep for me, for I am not dead,
I have another house you know.
Where only Gods redeemed can go.
I do not need this house of clay.
So, tenderly, carefully lay it away.
