Dont sit there and cry for me.
Im resting in peace cant you see.
Ive already run my race.
Now I want to see my Saviors face.
So dry your eyes and stop your crying,
Dont worry about my dying.
This is a debt we all must pay,
We all must sleep right on away.
Dont cry for me, please be strong.
Youll be sad but not for long.
I want you to make preparation every day,
Then youll be ready to come my way.
I was with you for many years.
We had our doubts we had our fears.
But Ive grown tired and I need to rest.
You know that God only wants the best.
Just look upon me with a smile.
Thank God that I was with you for a while.
Ill be waiting in Heaven somewhere.
Come on up. Ill be waiting for you there.
