Obituary
Mr. Omie Maureese Hines was bom September 30, 1959 in Evans
County, Georgia to the late Mr. David D. Hines, Sr. and Mrs.
Maey Lee Milledge Hines.
Omie attended the publie sehools of Evans County and graduated
in the year of 1978. Omie worked at Evans Memorial Hospital in
the field of Medieal Assistant. He was also employed by the
Georgia State Prison.
He joined Hagan Missionary Baptist Chureh at an early age where
he sang in the ehoir. Omie touched the lives of many people. He
was a loving brother, friend, neighbor and co-worker.
Mr. Omie M. Hines passed from this life on Friday, March 16,
2012. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister,
Claudette G. Hines. He leaves the following loved ones to cherish
fond memories: Abayomi K. Hines (mother, Lois Mathis); three
brothers, Esclerio P. Hines of Statesboro, Georgia, David D. Hines
of Claxton, Georgia and Charles W. Hines of Claxton, Georgia;
four sisters, Alma Tate (Reuben) of Paso Rebolos, California,
Brenda G Hines of Claxton,
Georgia, Katherine Hines of
Daisy, Georgia, Deborah D.
Richardson of Claxon Georgia;
four very special friends, Jonas
Williams, Kenneth Bacon,
Tommie Slater, Shandra
Wright; many, many more and a
host of nieces, nephews.

Theres a time of still waters
that comes to us all,
a time when we hear
the Lords soft, gentle call. . .
He asks us to trust him,
to be still and rest,
as he works to accomplish
His will for our best.
