There comes a time in everyones life when we must depart from
those we love. That time came for Sister Rosetta Bacon Brown at
DeKalb Medical Center on September 25, 2011. Sister Rosetta (Bacon)

1954. Through this union they had 5 children: Arnita Brown of
Decatur, Georgia; Deborah (Estrice, Jr.) McCreary of Stone Mountain,
Georgia; Eric (Shirley) Brown of Stone Mountain, Georgia; Patricia
Brown of Snellville, Georgia; and Rosalind (Tony) Battie of Stone
Mountain, Georgia.
Sister Rosetta had 8 grandchildren: Syreeta M. Key, Erika S.
Edgerton, Clinton T. Slater Jr., Eric Brown Jr., Estrice N. McCreary IV,
Eriona L. Brown, Aaron L. Hudson-Brown, Ikeem J. Brown. She also

Department in 1997. She was a faithful member of the Ray of Hope
Christian Church of Decatur, Georgia under the spiritual guidance of
Dr. Cynthia L. Hale for over 25 years.
God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be. He
put His arms around you and whispered: Come with Me. You
didnt deserve what you went through so he gave you rest. Gods
garden must be beautiful he only
And when we saw you sleeping so
pain, we realized that you fought
the good fight, you finished the
race, you kept your faith and God
has preserved you for his heavenly
kingdom.
Love,
Your Children

The Master Called
Tm sorry I had to leave you,
My loved ones, oh so dear
But you see, the Master called me.
His voice was clear!
I had made my reservation
A heaven bound ticket for one.
And I knew that He would call me
When He felt my work was done.
I know that your hearts are heavy
Because I have gone away
But when the Master called me
I knew that I could not stay.
Yes, Tm sorry I had to leave you
My loved ones, oh so dear
But, you see, the Master called me
And now Tm resting here.
Yes, Ive crossed on over to glory
And to you all I say.
Just stay in the hands of Jesus
And well meet again someday.
