To Dad From;
Charles;
To My Father:
I wanna tell you that I thank you for being the good ground that you were. You
being good ground instilled in me to be good ground. Father, I thank you for being
the Father that other young men would love to have. You taught me to take care of
my family, no matter what the circumstances were. You taught me to love despite of
what people did against me. You was always there if I needed to talk, to laugh a
little, or just to he encouraged. The most important thing a father can do for a son,
is you taught me the Word of God! You always said, nothing will stand, but the Word
of God will always stand. I didnt understand a lot of it at first, but now I do, and
Tm moving forward with my head held up, looking towards the hills which all my
help come from. Father, thank you. Its hard right now, but I know youre in Heaven
rejoicing that the storm is over now. And I know youre with the Almighty and His
Son, no more pain, no more crying, no more worries, just peace and joy and happi-
ness. I want you to know, the teachings you have done was not in vain. Father your
name lives on, me and (your son) will fulfill the destiny for you. I wish you was
here, but God loved you more, I wanted to show you the man you had raised, but I
know you will look down on me, and speak to me, and tell me Son, everything is
goingto be all right. Father, I loveyou with all my heart. You have been a great fa-
ther and husband. I dont regret one day. You were everything for me, my wife, my
sisters, and all of Claxton, Georgia. Once again. Father, I loveyou, and I will always
stay with God!! Tell my Grandfather, Grandmother, Aunt Marie I love them, and
save me a spot in Heaven.
I Love You!
Charles L. Lovett, Jr.
Vanessa:
To Daddy:
Thank you for being you and always you. You have taught me how to love in
spite of what people said or have done. You have been an inspiration to a lot of
people, including me and my family. Even though I did get jealous when you started
fathering my husband, Kareem, and paying less attention to me, but you were just
being you, and I thank you for that.
I will miss all the laughs and conversations that we had together. I want you to
now rest and one day we will meet again.
Love You Always,
Vanessa
Starsheenma:
To My Daddy:
You are going to be truly missed. And Im going to always love you. Daddy, my
heart is hurting because youre gone. But I know that you are in a better place. So
Daddy, I love you and you rest in peace.
