when I must leave you for a little while.
Please do not grieve and shed many tears
And hug your sorrow to you through the years.
But start out bravely with a gallant smile.
And for my sake, and in my name
Live on do all things the same.
Ms. Betty Jean Bacon was born on March 11, 1952, in Bulloch
county Georgia to the late Utah and Landis Bacon. She entered into
eternal rest early Friday morning, July 23, 2010.
She was preceded into death by both parents and one special
grand daughter Shamya Bacon.
She leaves to cherish her memory three sons: Shadrick (Erika)
Bacon, Sr, Dantry Bacon both of Claxton, Georgia, Mistrell (Jessica)
Alvin of Atlanta, Georgia; three grand children: Shadrick Bacon, Jr.,
and Shakyla Bacon both of Claxton, Georgia, and Shyla Alvin of Fort
Pierce, Florida. Seven sisters: Mary Lou Olds, Pauleen Bryant, Ora Lee
Jones (L.H.) of Miami, Florida, Celia Seay of Manassas, Georgia, Dora
Wilkinson (Bobbie Lee), Sandra Rose Bacon, Bellville, Georgia, and
Tarsha Bacon of Hinesville, Georgia. Three brothers: Hazel Bacon of
Miami, Florida, Lorenzo Bacon of Brunswick, Georgia and Rudolph
Bacon of Glennville, Georgia. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and
many, many friends.
