Ms. Elizabeth (Liz) Williams Davis was born on November 16,
1946 in Chatham County, Savannah, Georgia to the late Mr. Wardell
Williams and Ms. Julia Gadson. She resided in Evans County for most
of her life. She departed her life on Thursday, July 24, 2008.
She was a member of Thomas Grove A.M.E. Church ofClaxton,
where she remained a member until her death. She was united in Holy
Matrimony to Bill (Artis B) Davis and to this union no children were
born.
She leaves the following loved oned behind to cherish many fond
memories. Two sisters: Irene Williams (Coleman), Bushnell, Elorida;
Lillie Mae Baitman, Claxton, Georgia; one brother: Joseph Williams,
also ofClaxton, Georgia; five sisters-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews,
cousins and friends. Preceding her in death: five brothers, three sisters.
Special mention: Deanna Benjamin, Gwinnett Clifton, Grade
Porter.
Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine
heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
