Obituary
Curtis Hall was born September , 1937 in Daisy, Georgia
to the late Luther Hall and Sally Henry Hall. He was the 12^^
of 14 siblings. Curtis closed the book of his life at the
beckoning of the Lord on the evening of Thursday, November
29th 2007.
Fondly known to his friends and family as Curt he attended
the Tattnall County school system. In August of 1958 he
enlisted in the Military (Army) where he served three years.
He met and fell in love with Deloris Young. They were
married on July 5th 1959 and from that union 4 children were
born.
For many years Curt drove tractor and trailers long distance
all over the country. He loved his job and he constantly talked
about his long distance experiences.
Curt was a fun loving man who loved to be involved in family
gatherings and almost always became the center of attention
due to his lively story telling. He loved to talk, eat, fish and
work in his vegetable garden. He had a green thumb and
could make anything grow.
He leaves to cherish his memory: 1 daughter Mrs. Karen
(Kyle) Hall-Reid of Orange NJ and 3 sons Derrick (Alexi) Hall
of West Orange NJ ; Kevin Hall of Richmond VA and Darren
Hall of West Orange NJ. 14 Grand children Aja, Lashurette,
Shamar, Kashief, Sakiyna, Ebony, Lamar, Kevin, Brandon,
Fatimah, Qawi, Deontay, Jarad, Aleem. 6 Great grands. 3
brothers Luther Hall of AL, Earl Hall of GA, Theron Hall of
GA; 3 sisters Birda Lee of AL, Mae Liza of GA, Margaret of
NY. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and
friends.
Psalm 23
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he
leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths
of righteousness for his name's sake
Yea, thirngti 1 walk through the valley of the
shadow of death, / will fear no evil: for thou art
with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou prepai est a table before me in the presence
oj mine eneriies' thou anointesi my head with
oil; my cup runnelk over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all
the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house
of the LORD for ever.
