Obituary
Ervin Blocker was born on July 4, 1902 in South Carolina to
the late Annie and Will Blocker.
On February 7, 2007, Ervin was called home to be with the
Lord.
Ervin was united in holy matrimony to Lillie Mae Douse.
This union was blessed with ten children. He is preceded in
death by five children; WilHe D., Albert, Roosevelt, Lutitia
and Gerdline.
Ervin was a member of St. John Baptist Church, and he
often attended various churches in the surrounding area.
Ervin was a Entrepreneur by trade in the Pulpwood Industry
business. He was known for helping others in the
community by providing them with employment.
Ervin will always be remembered and loved by those who
cherished his loving memories.
He leaves to cherish his memories five children: Betty
Colman, Deloris Davis, Earlene Mincey, Mildred Stanley
(Artise) and Jackie Palmer. One brother Charlie Blocker;
Twenty-four grandchildren. Thirty
great-grandchildren. Twenty-two
great-great grandchildren and a
host of nephews, nieces, cousins
and other friends and relatives.
