Obituary
Ms. 8louiseJohnson, the eldest of four children (two of
which preceded her in death) of the late Mr. J^osterJohnson
and the late Mrs.^nnie Williamsjohnson, was bom
September 19, 1928 in 8vans County, Georgia.
She attended the public schools of 8mns County.^t an
early age, she answered the call to Christianity and joined
the St. John Missionary ^Baptist Church under the pastorate
of the late ^p.J. Pearson. She served faithfully as an
usher and choir member until she moved to^tlanta,
Georgia, where she resided for 29 years.
dJpon her return to Evans County, she immediately
restored her membership with the St.John Missionary
baptist Church under the leadership of ^v. Stanford
jinderson I. She was a member of the church's Mission
(department and a loyal supporter and participant of the
various activities of the church. She had a sweet spirit which
endeared her to many, especially the children.
She leaves loving memories to her caring sister, Mrs. JJllie
(^.Johnson Hayes, Claxton, Ga.; one aunt, Mrs. Willie
Williams, Glennville, Ga.; several supponive cousins,
including Mrs. Pauline Golden, Ellabell, Ga.; Mr. Hubert
(JjLcille) Mikel, Claxton, Ga.; Mr. Elijah (Ethel) Williams,
Jacksonville, Ma.; Mr. JEeandms (doris) Williams, Claxton,
Ga.; her church family. Concerted Services, Inc.; neighbors
and friends.
