OBITUARY
Mrs. Ruby (Ligbtfoot) Collins was born October23,1923,
to the late Mr. Tommie and Baby Lue Ligbtfoot. She was the
youngest of two brothers and one sister. Two who preceded her
in death. Johnny D. and Rincy.
She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother
who emphasized the importance of God and Family to her
children and grandchildren. She joined the First African
Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her
health failed.
She was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Mr. Artis Lee
Collins. To this union eight children were born. Two of them
preceded her in death. John L. And Harvey Lee Collins.
She Leaves to cherish her memories three sons
Mr. Lee Artis Collins (Margie), of Savannah, Ga; Mr.
Fredrick Collins (Genora), and Mr. Jessie Lee Collins
(Sandra), both of Claxton, Ga; three daughters Mrs.
Delons Lewis (Herbert), of Anderson Airforce Base,
Guam; Mrs. Doretha Bryant of Dublin, Ga.; and Mrs.
LutriciaByrd (Johnny) of Warner Robins, Ga.
She raised six grandchildren as her own. Mr. Dewey
Glenn Collins (Allyson), of Atlanta, Ga.;Mr. Ricky Collins
(Brenda), Tucson, Az.; Mr. Gerald Phillips of Claxton,
Ga.;Mr. Donnell Collins (Tonia), of Stone Mountain, Ga.;
Mr. Alfonsa PhUlips of Atlanta, Ga.; Mr. Lamont Harris
of Dublin, Ga.; and Ozzmeca Bryant who preceded her in
death.
Thirty-two grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 11
great great grandchildren.

yet God somehow always made a way,
and I thanked him every night, and day.
Be good my family always love each other.
Be thankful to one another.
Be strong my family, with a strong heart.
The blood ties no one can ever part.
