Obituary
A Time to Be Born
The late Deacon Ronnie E. Geiger was born on
May 16, 1953 in Bulloch County to Mollie A. Geiger
and the late Johnny L.
Williams (Stepfather).
He was the oldest of ten
children.
A Time to Grow
Ronnie was edu-
cated in Evans County
School System where he
graduated in 1971. He
attended Vocational Tech School in Swainsboro, GA.
He also attended N.E.I. Truck Driving school in
Charleston, SC. He was employed with the Claxton
Manufactoring, Claxton Poultry, Cooper Wiss, Rogers
State Prison, GSP, Bulloch County Correctional
Facility & Burlington Trucking.
A Time to Worship
At an early age Ronnie joined
Cross Road Baptist Church, Claxton,
GA, where he served faithfully and
was ordained as a Deacon. Later he
joined St. John Missionary Baptist
Church, Claxton, GA. He served on
the Deacon Board until God called
him home.
A Time to Die
The sun set as God saw his servant needed to
rest. He called him home on November 18, 2003 at
10:30p.m. at St. Joseph/Candler Hospital in Savannah,
Georgia.
A Time to Morn
He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother,
Mollie Ann Geiger, of Claxton, GA; four brothers,
David Geiger, Randy L. Geiger (Gracie Ann), Johnny
T. Geiger and Charles Eric Williams all of Claxton,
GA; five sisters, Tanimie A. Smith (Michael), Theresa
Ann Hall, Sherrie D. Geiger, Jacquelyn M. Williams &
Janet E. Gibson (Montez) all of Claxton; three uncles,
Ben J. Geiger (Juanita) Charlie J. Geiger and Raymond
Geiger; two aunt, Emma J. Carr (Leon) & Ella
Geiger: three great uncles Frank Geiger, Rocky
Williams and Oliver Jackson; seven Great aunts,
Willie Lee Reynolds, Corrie Davis, Fannie Kennedy,
Eva Nell Williams, Francis Fairly, Ann Dora Davis and
Shirley Davis; seventeen nieces & nephews; five great
nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
