Mrs Deborah E. Toomer (Allen) was born on March 24,1950 in
Claxton, Georgia to Mrs. Alma Hayes Toomer and the late Mr. Samuel
Toomer, Sr. She entered into eternal rest on September 17, 2003 from Ev-
ans Memorial Hospital in Claxton, Georgia.
She attended the public schools of Evans County and graduated
from Evans County High School in 1968. She worked at Claxton Manufac-
turing for many years, and she was also employed for several years at
Claxton Poultry. She enjoyed sewing, reading, watching movies, and spend-
ing time with her grandchildren. She had a special relationship with those
around her, and people often came to her for advice.
She was a member of New Bethel in Tar City, Tattnall County,
where she was baptized in her youth. She later attended Mt. Olive Mis-
sionary Baptist Church for many years. On September 12,1972 she was
united in Holy Matrimony to Horace Eugene Allen, who preceded her in
death. One brother, James Toomer, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Deborah Toomer leaves the following loved ones behind to
cherish many loving memories: four children: Mrs. Tracey Jermon, Mrs.
Cindy Freeman, Mrs. Jennifer Allen, and Mr. Horace Allen, Jr., all of
Claxton, Georgia; her loving mother, Mrs. Alma H. Toomer of Claxton,
Georgia; two brothers: Mr. Samuel Toomer, Jr., of Claxton, Georgia and
Mr. Gerald L. Toomer of Tallahassee, Florida; two sisters: Mrs. Georgia
Johnson and Mrs. Taunya Toomer, both of Claxton, Georgia; two sons-in-
law: Mr. James Jermon and Mr. Antoine Freeman, both of Claxton, Geor-
gia; four grandchildren: Antoine, Jr. Kadeshia, Marcus, and Maya; two
nieces: Shanikki and Shanika; four Goddaughters:Ms. Marie Tillman, Ms.
JoAnn Tillman; Ms. Linda Tillman and Ms. Annette Tillman; and many
loving cousins and close friends.

presence. Our nurturer, our provider, and most of all, our friend.
Youve touched so many hearts as well. Momma, you will be trujy missed.
Youll always have a special place in our hearts.

Youre in a better place. You dont have to cry anymore Momma,
no more suffering. And most of all, you can rest knowing that we,
as a whole, always loved you, and will always love you.
