To everything there is a season and a time to
every purpose under the heavens, A time to be born.
Ricky Murray was born March 4, 1959 in Buiioch
County, Georgia to the iate Mr. Chariie and Loia Mae
Murray.
A time to die: Ricky entered into eternai rest on
Friday January 10, 2003 at St. Joseph/ Candier
Hospital in Savannah, Ga after a short illness.
A time to get: He received his education at the
public schools of Evans County.
A time to sow; A time to plant and embrace: At an
early age he joined the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist
Church. There he worked and served faithfully,
singing in the choir, working with the youth depart-
ment and with the dietary department of the church.
He also was a member of the Baptist Burial Society.
He was employed by the Evans county Board of
Education for a number years.
A time to weep: Left to cherish his memory are his
mother Mrs. Lola Mae Murray, eight sisters; Zedna
(Ernest) Williams, Mary Wilkerson of Claxton,Ga.,
Emma Lue (Arthur) Littles, Annie Marie (Eugene)
Bacon of Hagan, Ga., Versie (Arthur) Lee Of Belle
Glade, Fla., Lisa Murray of Port St. Lucie, Fla.,
Lucille Wiggins of Jacksonville, Fla., Sybil Eason of
Tampa, Fla.; six brothers Charles (Margaret) Murray,
James Murray, Terry Murray, Alex (Connie) Murray
and Micheal (Elizabeth) Murray of Claxton; Emanuel
(Margaret) Thompson of Statesboro, Ga.; 11 uncles,
8 aunts, two great aunts; Katie (Robert) Moffitte of
Savannah, Ga. and Leomia Frink of Vidalia, Ga. A
host of nieces , nephews, cousins and friends.
