OBITUARY
Cynthia (Diane) Bacon was born in Candler County,
Metter, Georgia. She walked through the window of life on
December 5, 1962. She was the daughter of Ommie Lee and
(J.G.) James Bacon. On Sunday, July 29, 2002 in
Statesboro, Georgia, she walked back through the window
of eternity.
At an early age with her family she moved to
Elizabeth, New Jersey. She went to Elizabeth High School,
Elizabeth, New Jersey, in 1995. She then moved back to
Daisy, Georgia. She was employed at Claxton Poultry
Farms until sickness prevented her from working.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother and
father, Ommie Lee and J.G. Bacon; two sons. Sham Bacon
of Nicholls, Georgia, and Tyrell Bacon of Daisy, Georgia; a
daughter, Shatayah Bacon of Daisy, Georgia; a husband,
Greg Furman of Claxton, Georgia; one brother, Alvin
Bacon of Claxton; three sisters, Doretha Bacon of Claxton,
Tina Valmir of Daisy, and Frances Johnson of Daisy,
Georgia; three loving and devoted friends, Stacey Bacon,
Dwight Bacon and Elmo McCloud; five brothers-in-law.
Max Valmir, Vernand Furman, Robert Furman, Ralph
Furman, and Edward Furman; two sisters-in-laws, Courtney
Wright and Bessie Moore; seven nieces, five nephews, and
a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
My Mom
She looked after me and she always shared laughter with
me. She was always therefor me and she loved and cared
for me. Every morning when I wake Im ready to hear
your sound. Now its harder to stay on the ground when
your not around. 1 want you to watch over me and my
brothers and always remember that we love you and we
will never find another mother.
