Obituary
Arthur (Henry) Jones was bom August 3, 1925 to Richard Jones, Sr.
and Sara Palmer Jones in Evans County, Georgia. He was a member of Odom
Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Odom, Georgia.
He will be remembered as a dedicated husband, father, grandfather,
brother, uncle, a caring relative and friend.
He leaves to cherish fond memories the following loved ones; a wife,
Annie Jones; one son, Johnny Jones of Newark, New Jersey, one daughter,
Maiy Small of Linden, New Jersey, two sisters, Mollie Wade and Sallie Moody
of Claxton, Georgia; William (Bill) Jones (Liz) of Linden, New Jersey; and
Harry Jones (Francie) of Elizabeth, New Jersey; two stepsons, Harry R.
Williams (Edith) of Henderson, North Caroline; Larry T. Williams (Debbra) of
Reidsville, Georgia; one stepdaughter, Mary G. Thorpe of Corpus Christi,
Texas; grandchildren, great grandchildren; a host of neices, nephews, and
friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, one son, six brothers,
and one sister.
