Mrs. Rosa Lee Platt Lane
Mrs. Rosa Lee Lane was born on November 17, 1917 in
Statesboro, Georgia. She was the daughter of John and Alice
Platt. God took her home after a long illness on January 11,
1999 at Evans memorial Hospital in Claxton, GA.
She leaves to cherish her memory; one daughter, Dorothy
Byrd of Claxton, GA; one son, Gary L. Holland of Claxton, GA;
one daughter-in-law, Brunetta Holland of Claxton, GA; two
sons-in-law, Cleveland Byrd of Ellabell, GA and Henry
Middleton of Claxton, GA; eleven grandchildren, Patricia
McClean, Monique Hendrix, Kareilya Hendrix, Tammy Holland,
Darren Lane, DeVino Jackson, Gregory Middleton, Benjamin
Pickett, Dewitt Gibson, Jermaine Holland and Rodney Holland,
all of Claxton, GA; Tanya Holland of Andrews Airforce Base,
MD and Gary Holland, Jr. of Portland, OR; eight great-
grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces,
nephews, friends and other relatives.
