Mrs. Sarah Jane Small Moore was born December 28, 1912
in Tattnall County. She was the daughter of Mr. Robert and
Annie Bell Wright Small. She was a faithful member of New
Bethel Baptist Church until her death. She was married to Mr.
Weldon Moore who preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a son; Mr. Richard Small
and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Cynthia Small of Claxton, GA; two
grandchildren, Dorsett Small and Miracle Small of Claxton, GA;
two God-daughters, Elonzia Crawford of Elizabeth, NJ and
Signora Crawford of Hagan, GA; three sisters, Mrs. Cora Lee
Hagan and Mrs. Ella Mae Small Oglesbee of Claxton, GA and
Ms. Melvie Small of Miami, FL; one brother, Mr. Lee Wright
Small of Vamville, SC; a dear cousin. Rev. Lucius Davis of
Chicago, IL and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
One day the window will he no more,
In its place there will be a door
For us to enter in a glorified way
Our Light, with Gods, forever to stay.
