Obituary
Mr. Thomas Rosevelte Moody was bom November 10,
1933 in Tattnall County, to the late Mr. Sollie Moody and
Annie Mae Hendrix. He departed this life at home on
January 28,1996 after a long illness. He was a native of Evans
County. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the
Jemsalem Missionary Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving wife, Mrs. May
Loise Brewton Moody; his mother, Mrs. Annie Mae Moody;
one son, Thomas Virgil Moody; his mother-in-law, Mrs. Effie
Brewton; daughter-in-law, Valerie Moody; one brother,
Brooker T. Moody; in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin McCoy of
Augusta, Mr. Sormy Brewton of Claxton, Mr. and Mrs. Wylie
Brewton of Reidsville; five grandchildren; one niece and a
great nephew; a host of other relatives and friends.
A precious one from us is gone,
A voice we loved is still.
A place is vacant in our home.
The world can never fill.
