OBITUARY
Amazing Grace how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch
like me, I once was lost, but now Im found, was blind but now
I see.
Mrs. Ruth Darlene Jones was born in Evans County,
Georgia on July 15,1941. She is the daughter of Mrs. Ollie Mae
Wilkerson, and the late Mr. Alfonso Wilkerson. She was called
home on Sunday, August 15,1993 at Evans Memorial Hospital
in Claxton, Georgia after an extended illness. Mrs. Ruth Jones
was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church from early
childhood until her passing.
She leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter, Ms.
Mellissia Jones, Claxton, Ga.; and two sons, Mr. Dandi Blocker,
Hagan, Ga., and Mr. Davon Jones, Jacksonville, Fla.,; her
devoted mother, Mrs. Ollie Mae Wilkerson, Claxton, Ga.; two
sisters, Mrs. Pinkie Jacobs, Newark, New Jersey, and Minnie
Smith, Hillside, New Jersey; and three brothers, Mr. Eugene
Wilkerson, Mr. Willie Gene Wilkerson, Claxton, Ga., and Mr.
Rodney Wilkerson, Tampa, Fla.; a loving and devoted friend,
Mr. Herbert Wallace, Claxton, Ga.; and a host of relatives and
friends.

shes friendship thats rare,
shes someone to count on
wholl always be there.
She never stops caring,
she never stops giving,
her helpful advice
