OBITUARY
Mr. Cleveland Powell was born December 15, 1947
in Evans County, Georgia. He was the son of Mr. Clinton
Powell (deceased), and Mrs. Nevada Wilkinson Powell. He
was a graduate of Evans County High School and a
member and Usher at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist
Church. He was joined in Holy Matrimony to Patricia Butler
of Reidsville, and to this union a son was born.
He departed this life March 25,1993 after an extend-
ed illness.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Mrs.
Patricia B. Powell; a son, Craig Powell; mother, Mrs.
Nevada Powell, all of Claxton, Ga.; six sisters, Mrs. Cledith
Ling and Mrs. Pemona Williams, both of Savannah, Ga.,
Mrs. Pricilla Poweil and Mrs. Jaquiyn Garvin, both of Clax-
ton, Mrs. Annette Knight of Brentwood, N. Y., and Mrs.
Juanita Jenkins of Reidsville; two uncles, Hercules Wilker-
son, Atlanta, and Rev. R. H. White, Springfield, Ga.; five
aunts, Mrs. Annie Wilkerson, Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Rozia Doe,
Claxton, Mrs. Cora Lee Gant and Mrs. Lizzie Thomas, both
of Register, Ga., Mrs. Leona Gordan, Statesboro; father
and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Butler of Reidsville,
Ga.; three sistes-in-law, Mrs. Marva Butler, Mrs. Gwen-
dolyn Mydell, and Mrs. Gladys Jackson; seven brothers-
in-law, Perry Ling, Ronnie Williams, Herbert Garvin, James
Butler, Lewis Butler, Jr., Lenton Butler and Mark Butler and
