OBITUARY
Mrs. Susie Rivers Hines the daughter of the late Rev.
George Rivers and Mrs. Charlott Garvin Rivers was born
March 2,1902. At an early age she joined Mt. Calvary Bap-
tist. In the year 1921 she moved her membership to Hagan
Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. In her active years as
a church worker, she was a member of the W.M.B.S.,
President of the Pastors Aid Club, member of the Choir,
and a diligent worker for the relocation and restoration of
Hagan Chapel Church. She was also a member of the
Womens Auxiliary representative to the G.M.B.A.
In the year of 1919 she was united in Holy Matrimony
to Arnie Hines and to this union six chiidren were born
of which three have preceded her in death and her hus-
band. She passed into eternal rest on Monday, March 8,
1993 at Claxton Nursing Care Facility.
She shall be sadly missed and mourned by two
daughters, Mrs. Rasa Bland of Hagan, Ga., Miss Charoitt
Hines of New Rochelle, N. Y.; a son, Mr. Isaac Hines,
Hagan; two sisters, Mrs. Maxie Hill and Mrs. Georgia
Weathers Bath of Hagan; one son-in-law, Mr. Grady L.
Bland, Jr., New Rochelle, N. Y.; two daughters-in-law, Mrs.
Cora Crennshaw, Claxton, Mrs. Johnnie Mae Hines,
Statesboro, Ga.; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Surena Small of
Reidsville, Ga.; 11 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren,
5 nieces, 5 nephews, 20 great-nieces, 22 great-nephews,
and a host of other relatives and friends.
A precious one from us is gone
A voice we iove is stiii
A piece is vacant in our home
The worid can never fiii.
