OBITUARY
Elder 0. L. Mikell was born in Manassas, Georgia on December
10, 1905.
He was the son of the late Mr. John Mikell and Mary Mincey
Mikell.
He was joined in Hoiy Matrimony to Mrs. Cora Miils on February
2, 1936.
To this union eieven chiidren were born.
At an eariy age he joined the United House of Prayer For Ali Peo-
ple Church on the Rock of the Apostlic Faith under the ieadership
of the iate Bishop C. M. Grace. He became Deacon of the United
House of Prayer. Later he was eievated to an Eider and Pastor of the
United House of Prayer of Beiiviiie, Georgia for four years. He also
was Pastor of the United House of Prayer of Ciaxton for five years,
under the ieadership of the iate Bishop W. McColiough and aiso assis-
tant Pastor of the United House of Prayer, Ciaxton, Georgia for 20
years.
He was a retired farmer and aiso retired from the Ciaxton Bakery.
He was an outstanding and faithfui G Ciass Worker in the House
of Prayer.
After a iong iliness, he departed this iife on November 11,1991
at Evans Memorial Hospital, Ciaxton, Georgia.
He leaves to mourn his memories, a devoted and loving wife,
Mrs. Cora Mikeii and 11 chiidren, Paui Mikei of Miami, Fia., SSG Den-
nis Mikeil of Kileen, Texas, Wiliie M. Mikeiii of Statesboro, Ga., Oilie
Lee Mikeii, Jr., Charles Mikell, Henry Mikell and Lanice Mikell, all of
Boston, Massachusetts, llda Brown, Eula Faye Mikell, Janice Hatcher
and Brenda Mikell, all of Boston, Massachusetts; one sister, Mrs. Ida
Smith of New York, N. Y.; two sons-in-law, Sherman Brown, Charles
Hatcher, both of Boston, Massachusetts; brothers-in-law. Brother
Fletcher Mills, Brother Robert Tompkins, Bellville, Ga., Robert Brown,
Harry Mills of Cliftwood, New Jersey; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Elizabeth
Warren, Sister Wilma Mills, Sister Mae Retha Tompkins, Sister
Williease Mills of Bellville, Ga., sister Vera Brown of Cliftwood, New
Jersey, Sister Lessie Gross of Boston, Mass; six daughters-in-law.
Sister Lena Mikell of Statesboro, Ga., Beverly Mikell of Kileen, Texas,
Willie Lee Mikell, George Ann Mikell, Annie Ruth Mikell and Debbie
Mikell, all of Boston, Mass.; 50 grandchildren, 34 great-grands, a host
of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
"A loving servant has returned to his Father.
His purpose among us complete.
He touched our lives with the warmth of his soul.
Now he rests at his Fathers feet.
