OBITUARY
His soul has gone to God, who giveth. The earth will
claim its own, his body. But he is shouting around the
throne, while we are left to cry alone.
Mr. Karis Fouche Small was born on July 26, 1970
in Evans County to Clifford Campbell and Gloria J. Small.
On June 12, 1989 an Angel came to Memorial Medical
Center in Savannah, Georgia and quietly took him from
this world of pain and sickness after a tragic accident.
He attended Claxton High School and received his
Diploma June 4,1988. While attending school he was ac-
tive in many sports. His awards includes. Best Defensive
Back 1985-86, Golden Helmet Award 1986^, Out-
standing Boy Athlete 1986-87-88. A Starting player
State AA Champions 1987-88,1 st Place B-PC Team 1987
Brewton Parker Most Outstanding Field (Track) 1988.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Mr. Clif-
ford Campbell, Jersey City, N. J., his mother, Ms. Gloria
J. Small, Claxton, Ga.; three brothers, Devency, Ouincey
and Darvis Small, all of Claxton; one sister, Ms. Errika
Small, Claxton; his paternal grandparents, Mrs. Ida Mae
Campbell, Arcadia, Fla., and Mr. Charlie Campbell,
Richland, Ga.; six aunts, Mrs. Lillie M. Small and Mrs. Bren-
da Ashley, both of Bronx, N. Y., Ms. Carrie P. Martin, Las
Vegas, Nev., Mrs. Berdell Small, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Mrs.
Maudell C. Harris, Arcadia, Fla., and Mrs. Lillie E. Johnson,
Richland, Ga.; two uncles, Arthur Lee Latimore, Rochester,
N. Y. and Clarence Campbell, Arcadia, Fla.; several
devoted great-aunts and uncles and a host of cousins and
friends.
A special thanks to a devoted friend, Mr. David
Geiger. We love you.
If God can stop the falling rain. And bring the sunny
skies again. Then rest assured, be still, and know no mat-
ter how things look...or go...He knows your need and how
you feel and there is nothing He cant heal.
