OBITUARY
Mr. Albert L. Blocker was born on November 3,1925
in Evans County, Georgia and departed this life on April
29,1989 at the Veterans Hospital in Dublin, Georgia after
a long illness. He was a Honorable Discharged Veteran
of the Army of the United States.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Mrs.
Edith Blocker, his father, Mr. Ervin Blocker, both of Clax-
ton, Georgia; five sisters, Mrs. Pearlie Lou Davis, Jackson-
ville, Fla., Mrs. Earlene Mincey and Mrs. Mildred Stanley,
both of Miami, Fla., Mrs. Geraldine Bacon, Atlanta,
Georgia, and Mrs. Jackie Palmer, Claxton, Georgia; three
step-sisters, Mrs. Betty Coleman and Mrs. Delores Davis,
both of Claxton, Ga., and Mrs. Lutitia Moody, Philadelphia,
Pa.; one step-brother, Roosevelt (Gadis) Douse,
Philadelphia, Pa.; four brothers-in-law, Mr. W. L. Davis, Mr.
Bacon, Mr. Stanley and Mr. Palmer; two uncles, Mr.
Charles Blocker and Mr. Luther Blocker; and two aunts,
Mrs. Vinnie Driver and Mrs. Willie B. Williams and a host
of other relatives and friends.
A precious one from us is gone. A voice we loved
is still. A place is vacant in our home. The world can never
