OBITUARY
Janice MaChelle Hodges departed this life
at Cedars Sinai Medical Center on April
19, 1989 at 3:30 PM, Los Angeles, California.
Janice MaChelle Hodges was born June 30,
1954 to the parents of Booker T. and Avis
Hagan of Claxton, Georgia.
She united with Mt. Pleasant Church, Claxton,
Georgia at an early age. She was very
active in the youth church until she moved
to California in 1976. Then she united
with Bethany Baptist Church of West Los
Angeles where she participated on the Nurses
Guild.
She was united in Holy matrimony to Ronald
Eli Hodges on May 18, 1977. To this union
one son was born; Winston Sterling Hodges.
She received her early education in Evans
County School. She was a honor student
at Claxton High School. She received her
B.S. degree from New York University and
a Master degree in Nursing from the
University of California.
She was presently employed at Executive
Health Medical Center as Clinic Manager.
She leaves to mourn her passing a loving
husband, Ronald Eli Hodges, a son Winston
Sterling Hodges of Los Angeles, California.
A devoted mother and father Booker T. and
Avis B. Hagan of Claxton, Georgia. A brother
Anthony W. Hagan and a sister Brenda H.
Malik, both of Atlanta,
mother-in-law, Mrs.
