OBITUARY
Mr. Richard Leroy (Dick) Jones, Jr. was born July 4,
1911 in Tattnall County to the late Mr. Richard Leroy
Jones, Sr. and Mrs. Sarah Palmer Jones, he departed this
life on October 22, 1987 at Evans Memorial Hospital,
Claxton, Georgia. He was joined in Holy Matrimony to
Miss Emma D. Williams, March 1930, and to this union
two children wer born. He joined St. Luke Missionary
Baptist Church and served faithfully until God called.
He leaves to cherish his Memory, a loving wife, Mrs.
Emma D. Williams Jones, Claxton, Georgia; one son. Rev.
Willie Jones, Roselle, N. J.; one daughter, Mrs. Versie
Mae Wilson, Sumpter, S. C.; five grandsons, 4 grand-
daughters, nineteen great-grands and four great-great-
grands; two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Wade, Savannah, Georgia
and Mrs. Sallie Bell Moody, Claxton, Georgia; five
brothers, Mr. Tom Jones, Claxton, Georgia, Mr. Author
Jones, Reidsville, Georgia; Mr. William Jones, Linden, N.
J., Mr. Harry Jones and Mr. Roosevelt Jones, Elizabeth,
N. J.; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Lois Jones; one
son-in-law, Mr. Mack Wilson; eight sisters-in-law; two
brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and
sorrowing friends.
Bless the Lord, 0 my soul and all that is within me.
Bless his Holy name.
Bless the Lord, 0 my soul and forget not all his
benefits; Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all
