OBITUARY
Mrs. Annie Eloise Peters was born to the parents of Mr.
and Mrs. Roosevelt Smith, February 28, 1943, in Evans
County, Georgia. She departed this life November 14,1985 in
a tragic accident.
She was united in matrimony to Mr. Eddie Williams
Peters on January 18, 1964. To this union seven children
were born. One child Eddie Darnell Peters preceded her in
death.
She was a member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church
where she served faithfully and actively.
She leaves to mourn five daughters: Pamela Evette
Smith, Patricia Elaine, Beverly and Chandra Kaye Peters and
Mrs. Angela Patrice Jones; one son, Eric Peters, one
son-in-law, John Jones, all of Claxton; her father and mother,
Roosevelt and Amanda Smith of Claxton; six brothers, Joel
Smith of Los Vegas, Nevada, Freddy L. Smith of Savannah,
George F. Smith of Reidsville, Welton Smith of Claxton,
Eddie James Smith of Washington Co., North Carolina,
Roosevelt Smith Jr. of Albany; three sisters, Mrs. Patricia A.
Kent of Savannah, Mrs. Carrie Holmes of Fort Hood, Texas,
Mrs. Donna Marie Smith of Claxton; two grandchildren,
Terrance Maurice Jones and Marcus Tremaine Peters both of
Claxton; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Carrie Smith of
Claxton; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Emma Cobbs of
Statesboro; four sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, a host of
nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, great aunts, cousins and
other relatives. She also leaves to mourn her devoted friend,
Mr. Norman Brown of Hagan.
