Its never easy when one must go,
And one must stay, - behind.
It never easy, I know I know,
I sees both heart and mind.
Its never easy but take Gods hand.
And pray tiU night has passed.
Just trust not ask to understand.
And peace will come at last.

Invictus
Out of the night that colors me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever God may be.
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fail clutch of circumstance,
I have not menced or cried aloud.
Under the bludgeoning of chance.
My head is bloody but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears.
Looms but the horror of the shade.
And yet the menace of the years.
Finds, and shall find me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate.
How charged with punishment the scroll,
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul.
