OBITUARY
Mrs. Elizabeth Freeman Elkins was born December 5,
1954 in Evans County, Ga. She entered into Eternal rest on
Thursday, October 18, 1984 at her home in Brunswick, Ga.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Westly Freeman,
Sr. As a child she attended Sunday School and at St. John
Missionary Baptist Church. After moving to Brunswick she
attended St. James AME Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing, six children, Michel
Jerome Elkins, Jr., Jermaine Derell Elkins, Antonio Lamont
Elkins, Karimah Arsha Elkins, Katrina Latrelle Elkins, and
Keecia Elkins all of Brunswick, Ga. Fler mother and father,
Mr. and Mrs. John Westly Freeman, Claxton, Ga., four
sisters, Mrs. Brenda Durham, Miami, Fla., Miss Patricia
Freeman, Miss Toshiba Freeman and Sequoia Freeman, all
of Claxton, Ga. Five brothers, John Westly Freeman,
Brunswick, Ga., Lester Wayne and Antonio Freeman all of
Claxton and Timothy Freeman, Dover Air Force Base, Dover,
Delaware. Her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Milton
Freeman, Brunswick, Ga., great-grandmother, Mrs. Mabell
Freeman, Claxton, Ga., one aunt, Mrs. Mattie T. Ponder,
Claxton, two uncles, Mr. Jim Henry Roberts, Vidalia, Ga.,
Mrs. Robert Freeman, Sr., Brunswick, Ga., and a host of
other relatives and friends.
Far from my heavenly home
