OBITUARY
Mr. Reese Crenshaw, Jr., the son of Mr. Reese
Crenshaw, Sr., and Mrs. Susie Hines Crenshaw, was born
September 25, 1940, in Moultrie, Ga. He departed this life
January 28, 1984, at Candler General Hospital, Savannah,
Ga.
He joined Hagan Chapel Missionary Baptist Church at
an early age under the pastorage of Rev. J. P. Porter.
He was joined in Holy Matrimony to Miss Cora Blitch
December 6,1978.
He leaves to mourn his passing a faithful wife, Mrs. Cora
B. Crenshaw; and a stepson, Edwin Blitch, both of Claxton,
Ga.; his mother, Mrs. Susie Hines Crenshaw, Hagan, Ga.;
his father, Mr. Reese Crenshaw, Sr.; his sisters, Mrs. Rosa
H. Bland, Hagan, Ga., and Miss Charlotte Hines, New
Rochelle, N. Y.; his brother, Mr. Issach Hines, Hagan, Ga.;
his father-in-law, Mr. Andrew Blitch, Claxton, Ga.; two
aunts, Mrs. Maxie Hill and Mrs. Georgia Weathers, both of
Hagan, Georgia; six sisters-in-law, Mrs. Macy Hines of
Claxton, Ga., and Mrs. Shirlie Blitch, both of Claxton, Ga.;
Mrs. Carolyn Collins and her husband, Jessie; Mrs. Gennita
Ketshup and her husband, Curtis, Sr., Mrs. Catherine
Pollard and her husband. Sonny; five brothers-in-law, Mr.
Lee Author Blitch and his wife, Melenda, Atlanta, Ga., Mr.
Lee Artis Blitch and his wife. Bobbin, U. S. Navy, Virginia
Beach, Va., Mr. Derrick Blitch, Claxton, Ga., Mr. Larry
Blitch, Charleston, S. C., and Mr. Lamar Blitch, Lackenheath
Air Force Base, England; aunts-in-law, Mrs. Annie Leah
McNeal and husband, Kizer, Mrs. Rosetta Brown and
husband, Clifford, Mrs. Willie Mae Bacon and husband,
Johnny, Mrs. Willie Mae Boyette and husband, Henry, Mrs.
Thelma Huff; and a host of other relatives and friends.
