OBITUARY
Mr. E. C. (Jack) Cobbs was born September 15,1911, to
the late Mr. E. M. Cobbs and Mrs. Mary Cobbs.
He departed this life December 16, 1982, after a long
illness.
He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
He leaves to mourn a devoted wife, Mrs. Mamie Lue
Cobbs, Claxton, Ga.; step-mother, Mrs. Emma Cobbs,
Statesboro, Ga.; two brothers, Penton Cobbs, Claxton, Ga.,
Lawson Cobbs, Elizabeth, N.J.; two sisters, Mrs. Amanda
Smith, Claxton, Ga., Mrs. Edna Conyers, Cobbtown, Ga.;
five brothers-in-law, Mr. Willie Hagan, Ocala, Fla., Mr.
Remers Hendrix, Mr. Roosevelt Smith, Claxton, Ga.; Rev. E.
W. Rawls, Collins, Ga., Dea. James Conyers, Cobbtown,
Ga.; five sisters-in-law, Mrs. Albertha Cobbs, Mrs. Leola
Cobbs, Claxton, Ga., Mrs. Janie Mae Cobbs, Elizabeth, N.J.,
Mrs. Lillie Cobbs, Rahway, N.J., Mrs. Retha Rawls, Collins,
