Mrs. Susie M. Frances, the dau^ter of the
late Mrs. Gussie Cooks, was bom In Johnson County,
Qeor^a., Dec. 19, 1901, and departed this life
Thursday, Atigust 12, 1982, at Evans Memorial
Hospital, after an extended illness.
She was previously married to the late Mr.
Lester Warren. To -Uiis union two daughters were
bom. In later years she was married to the late
Mr. Oscar Francis. At an early age she joined
the Hagan Chapel MLssionary Baptist Church where
she remained an active member until she became
disabled.
She leaves to raotim, one da\ighter, Mrs.
Carrie B. Dennis, Savannah, Ga., one step-daughter,
Mrs. Dorothy Cobb, Ft. Pierce, Florida., one
step-son, Mr. Oscar Francis, Jr., Lakewood, N.J.,
one foster-snn, Mr. Authur Lee Lattiraore, Claxton,
Georgia, two sisters, Mrs. Rosetta Marry, Ft. Pierce,
Florida, and Mrs. Minnie Lainy, Gouse, Fla., one
sister-in-law, Mrs. Frances Cook, Ft. Pierce, Fla.,
one brother-in-law, Mr. William Larry, Gouse, Fla.
one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Daisy Francis, Lakewood,
N.J., two sons-in-law, Mr. Willie Cobb, Ft. Pierce,
Fla., Mr. Hohnny Snail, Claxton, Ga.j seven grand-
children; twenty-seven great-grands, nine great
great grands; a host of neices nephews, other relatives
and friends.
