OBITUARY
Mrs. Evelyn H. Graham was born in Bulloch County,
Georgia, December 2,1904. She was the oldest daughter of
L. G. Hayes and Annie B. Hayes.
Mrs. Evelyn passed into the great eternity September
13, at 1:40 a.m. to be with Christ her Savior. She was a loyal
member of Mt. Moriah M.B. Church and will be greatly
missed.
All of Gods people seek something in which to repose.
At an early age she accepted Jesus as her personal Savior and
from that time, she was working for the Master any place she
could, knowing that one who was willing to work will have
everlasting peace. She was Church Mother of Mt. Moriah
M. B. Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Mr.
Richard Graham, Manassas, Ga.; one son, Lonnie G.
Swinson, Claxton, Ga.; a step-mother, Carrie Jones,
Pineland, S.C.; seven step-daughters, Lily Mae Harris,
Claxton, Ga., Mae Francies Russell, Washington, D.C.,
Fronita Moore, Atlanta, Adgonal Bradshaw, Miami,
Malverine Davis, Savannah, Eudora Edinfield, N.Y., Arlivia
E. Hamlin, Baltimore, M.D., six step-sons, Richard Graham,
Jr., Oxon Hill, M.D., Samuel Graham, St. Louis, Mo., T. J.
Smith, New York, S. J. Smith, Augusta, Arnie Lee Smith,
New York, Morris Smith, New York; five sisters, Gussie Mae
Anderson, Meldrin, Ga., Marie Carpenter, Phila., Effie B.
Bolden, Ellabell, Ga., Maude Seabroke, Phila, Pa., Carrie V.
Hayes, Phila., Pa.; two brothers, Loyde Hayes and Walter B.
Hayes, Phila., Pa.; one daughter-in-law, Theresa Swinson,
Claxton, Ga.; five step-daughters-in-law; a granddaughter,
Arvida Harris, Germany; 4 step-sons-in-law; one
brother-in-law, Joseph Graham, Cincinnati, Ohio; two
sisters-in-iaw, Mary Eason, Washington, Redis Crumpton,
Cincinnati, Ohio; 50step-grandchildren; 48great-grandchild-
ren and other relatives and friends.
I am a pilgrim and Im a stranger; I can tarry but a night.
Do not detain me for i am going to where the fountains
are ever flowing and the city is filled with light.
