That she is dead, shes just away.
And with a cheerful smile and a wave of her hand.
She has wandered into an unknown land.
OBITUARY
Mrs. Pearlie Mae Mills was born September 3, 1947, in
Hendersonville, N.C. She was the daughter of Mr. Tearges
Riley and the late Mrs. Candassy Riley. At an early age, she
was married to Mr. Olan Mills who preceded her in death. To
this union, nine children were born; one who preceded her in
death.
She was a member of St. John Baptist Church where she
served until she moved away.
She departed this life Tuesday, October 6, 1981, in Ft.
Pierce, Fla. She leaves to mourn her passing; three sons,
James, Thernell and Olan Mills of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; five
daughters, Farrie Bell, Elaine, Tammy and Soliate Mills of
Ft. Pierce, Fla., and Miss Sharon Mills of Goulds, Fla.; her
father, Mr. Tearges Riley of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; four brothers,
Eugene, L. M., Jackie and Therman Riley, all of Goulds,
Fla.; three sisters, Beatrice Lovette and Joan Riley of Goulds,
Fla., and Odessa Avant of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; five grandchildren
and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews,
relatives and friends.
Lifes race is run;
Lifes work is done;
And now she rests.
