OBITUARY
Mr. George Nunnally, the son of the late Mr. George
Washington Nunnally and Mrs. Mammie Nunnally, was born
July 7,1912 in Screven County. He departed this life Tuesday
morning, July 15, 1980, at Bulloch Memorial Hospital,
Statesboro .
He lived in Evans County most of his life. He was joined
in holy matrimony to Miss Eloise Peters of Evans County. To
this union three children were born.
Surviving are; His ex-wife, Mrs. Eloise Nunnally,
Killeen, Texas; Five sons, George Franklin Nunnally of
Hagan; Donald Dupont of Savannah; Henry Dupont and
Eugene Nunnally of Killeen, Texas; Clyde Williams of
Washington, D.C. Six daughters, Gladys Nelson of Killeen,
Texas; Cora Nunnally of Savannah; Carol, Carolyn and Mae
Gloria Davis of Hagan; Bessie Nunnally of Miami, Fla. Three
sisters, Lavon Clark of Atlanta; Elizabeth Brewton of
Bellville; Mattie Lou Cox of Glennville. Two brothers,
Jeremiah Nunnally of Claxton; Clinton Nunnally of Atlanta.
Three daughters-in-law, Betty Weaver Nunnally of Hagan;
Versie Dupont of Savannah; Amy Dupont of Killeen Texas.
One son-in-law, Walter Nelson of Killeen, Texas. Two
sisters-in-law Gloria Nunnally of Claxton; Betty Sue Nunnally
of Atlanta. Three brothers-in-law, Earl Brewton of Bellville;
Thernell Clark of Atlanta; Prince Cox of Glennville. A
devoted friend, Mrs. Gracie Mae Davis, of Hagan. 25
grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, and other
relatives and friends.
