Obituary
The late Mrs. Alfreda Porter was born to xMi
and Mrs. d. Bacon April 18, 1934 in Claxton, Ga,
county of Evans.
In later years she met and married Mr. Nat-
han Porter and to this union three children were
born. Mrs. Porter moved to Pompano Beach, Fla.
and met Mr. Issas Jackson and to this union five
childr='n were born.
She joined the Soul Winning Church of God
in Christ under the pastorage of Elder James
Rolle, she served faithfully until her death.
She departed this life Jan. 11, 19 0 at North
Broward ^lospital Pompano Beach, Fla,
Leaving to mourn her passing a husband Mr.
Isaac Jackson of Pompano Beach, Fla. three daugh-
ters ^''iss Lillie Dupree, Miss Shirley Porter and
Miss Bertha Jackson, three sons Mr. Arthur Bacon,
Mr. Franklin Jackson and Mr. Andrew Jackson,
mother Mrs. Mary Jane Denmark, three brothers Mr,
Eddie Bacon of ^ompano Beach, Fla, Mr. Joe Bacon
of Claxton, Ga., and Mr. David Bacon of Ft. Pier-
ce, Fla., two sisters Mrs. Lizzie Mae Bacon of
New Jersey, Mrs. Lillie Mae Slater of Claxton,
Ga.,"f-lve grandchildren, two sister-in-law Mrs.
Magaliae Bacon of Pompano Beach, Fla. and Mrs.
Evelyn Bacon of Claxton, Ga., and a host of
nieces, nephews, relatives and sorrow^ing
friends.
God saw the road was getting rough
the hills were hard to climb. He
gently closed those loving eyes and
whispered "Peace be Thine"
The weary hours, the days of pain,
The sleepless nights are passed the
ever patient worn out of frame
Haeve found sweet rest at last
