OBITUARY
And God shall wipe away all tears from
their eyes; and there shall be no more death nei-
ther sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be no
more pain; for the former things are passed
away. Revelation 21:4.
Miss Nellie Martin was born in Bulloch
County, Georgia, July 1891 to the late Mr. and
Mrs. Richard Martin and departed this hfe Feb.
23, 1975.
She joined the Piney Grove Baptist Church
at an early age, later the family moved to Clax-
ton, Ga., and she transferred her membership
to the St. John Missionary Baptist Church, know-
ing the need of Christian guidance became a de-
voted worker always ready and willing to do
whatever she could.
She attended the Public School in Claxton,
Ga. She leaves to mourn her passing two nep-
hews whom she reared as her own children from
an early age.
Mr. Frank Martin, Claxton, Ga., Mr. James
Thomas, Atlanta, Ga., and a host of nieces, other
nephews and relatives and friends.
