OBITUARY
Mrs. Maggie Lee Wright was born in Fairfield,
S. C., April 25, 1882, to the parents of Mr. James Lee
and Mrs. Lula Lee. She became a Christian at an
early age, joined the Round Top Baptist Church in
Fairfield, S. C. Later in years she came to Georgia
and joined the St. Luke Baptist Church, Daisy, Ga.
Later, she moved her membership to Mt. Pleasant
Baptist Church where she served a Faithful Christ-
ian Life until her health failed.
She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Willard
Wright in 1906, who has preceded her in death.
She leaves to mourn her passing, one adopted
son, Mr. Roosevelt Wright, Newark, N. J.; three sis-
ters, Mrs. Mary Moody, Mrs. Beatrice McKinnon, and
Mrs. Carrie Smith, all of Claxton, Ga.; three brothers,
Mr. Elijah Lee, Mr. Hayward Lee, Claxton, Ga., Mr. T.
L. Lee, New York, N. Y.; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Clara
Lee, Claxton, Ga., Mrs. Hattie Lee, New York, N. Y.;
one brother-in-law, Mr. George Smith, Claxton, Ga.;
one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Florence Wright, Newark,
N. J.; two grandchildren and a host of nieces, neph-
ews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
We think of you each day.
But still you have passed away
We can call but you cannot hear,
But still it seems that you are near.
