OBITUARY
PFC. Charles E. Ford, the son ol Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Jackson Ford, was born In Evans County, Georgia, May
9th, 1949, and departed this life on July 23rd, 1969, while
in action in Vietnam. He attended Public Schools of Evans
County. He graduated from the Evans County High School
in 1967.
He joined and was baptized at the St. John Baptist
Church in his early youth. He was drafted into Military
Service on September 26th, 1968. He will be.sadly missed
by a loving Mother and Father, Mr, and Mrs. Charles Jack*
son Ford and a dear Grandmother, Mrs. Willie G. McClain j
4 brothers, Wendell McClain, Cecil D. McClain, Jeffery and
Daryl McClain, aU of Claxton, Georgia; two sisters, Gwen>;
dolyn and Jacquelyn McClain of Claxton; one Uncle and
Aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Hemy McClain; four Great Ahnts,
Mrs. Callie Brenton, Mrs. Beatrice McCray, Mrs. Sarah
Badger of Claxton, Mrs. Artencia Akins of Glennville, Ga,;
three Great Uncles, Mr. Jessie McClain, Claxton, Ga., Mr.
David McClain, Hagan, Ga. ; e host of relatives and friends.
