pearsonable apeard [personally appeared] before me Arcable Nelson and being duley [duly] Sworn Saith on oath that to his Sertain nolledg [Certain knowledge] that James Morris is living and his famley [family] over the boundrey [boundary] line on the indian hunting Ground near the alcofy and has a tolarable [tolerable] Good Cabbin [Cabin] and Cowpens, there Keepeing [Keeping] his Stock and has ben [been] for twelve month past { and this deponent further Saith that John Camp from Jackson County is living and his famley [family] over the boundrey [boundary] line on the indians hunting Ground and has a good Cabbin [Cabin] with a punching floar [puncheon floor] and other Shelters and a cowpen and is keepeing [keeping] his Stock and has for twelve months past and Swares [Swears] he bids defiance to the whites to move him: if the indians dont and he will fight for his Contrey [Contrary] until he dies } and this deponent further Saith that James Besley from morgin County and his famley [family] is liveing [living] over the boundrey [boundary] line on the waters of Jack Creek in a great new Shelter and was Cuting [Cutting] timber like he was makeing [making] [unclear text: Pales ]
